Another exciting week

Our good friend Chrystal has now officially moved back to town. We got to spend some time with her and Jon this past week. We are sad to see Jon leave but we look forward to his arrival in the fall.

Mya is talking up a storm these days. I love it when she reads us books she's memorized.

Mya is also almost fully potty trained. She was so excited to have pooped on the potty last night that she called me at work and left a voice message telling me all about it. Priceless.

Jon, Chrystal, and Me at a Cards game. Nice long arm shot.

We went to a vehicle fair over the weekend. Mya had her first and hopefully last experience of sitting in the back of a police car. Busted!

This is our friend Brad. Mya is in love with him. He is known as Uncle Bradbeard.

A day in the life of a two year old

We started our week off with PJ Sunday. Although the weather was fairly decent we were lazy. We let Mya stay in her Tinkerbell PJs all day and she loved it. That's whats so great about children. They get so excited about the little things. In the sad picture, she really isn't sad. She bumped her head earlier and she was re-enacting the event while holding "piggy ice" to her head. Two year olds get an A+ for drama.

We spent a beautiful weekday at the zoo with Aunt Becky and baby Charlotte. We numerous animals including the sea lion show but the real show stopper for Mya was visiting the monkeys and gorillas. She is obsessed. Mya hasn't stopped talking about them since the visit.

Let's see... Mya is really into dress up. I've enclosed a photo of her dressed as a princess. She is giving her "snuggles" a huge hug. Snuggles is her very best friend. She especially enjoys wearing tap shoes around the house. She dances just like her parents do(some of you know what this means for her future in dancing).

We've also enclosed some pics of our backyard including a recent deer spotting.
Pretty groovy.

Sorry, the pics are not in order. Don't know what happened with that. As you know, I am a blogger "V".
