Butterfly house

The other week we ventured to the butterfly house with Grandma. We could've spent hours in the 80 degree climate to admire the beauty and avoid the 10 degree temp outside.

Also an update on Grandma. Since her car accident she's had surgery to repair multiple fractures in her pelvis. She has a long road to recovery but she is now out of the hospital and in a rehab facility with great OT and physical therapists to help her get back into shape.

Mya is the map expert. She was on the hunt for an owl butterfly (her personal favorite)

V day love for chocolate

Call us lame but Brian and I don't celebrate Valentine's day. Hallmark holidays are not our favs. However, I'm sure he would say that every day is filled with love by just being married to me, right?

Mya on the other hand is all about celebrating this day. We spent all weekend making homemade fish valentines for her friends at school and we starting making chocolate covered strawberries at 9:30 this morning. I am pretty sure most of the chocolate went straight to her mouth. Sounds like a chip off the old block.

After her nap (yes, she is back to napping on and off) we get to hang with her buddies at school. Tonight I am off to work so Brian will get the sugar high aftermath. Go B!

I hope all my babies know how much I love them. I am very blessed to have such a wonderful family. My heart holds extra special love just for you.
