Nothing new to report

Still hanging out on bed rest. Mya seems to have adjusted well enough to the whole situation. Now I look forward to the times when she can join me on the couch or in bed for some cuddles and books or movies. When she's home she'll bring me toys and we sit and play together. It wasn't as difficult of a transition as I anticipated.

The other day she wanted to play "soccer coach". She was the soccer coach and I was the student. She asked me to get up and kick a small plastic ball. When I told her I couldn't she said "That's ok" and she brought the ball to my foot on the couch and told me to kick it. She put it up to my foot, threw it and said "good shot!" She's our little problem solver. So, there are ways to interact.

Starting to get a little bored but I'll survive. We are at the 36.5 week marker, which even the doctor is surprised to hear. Our last checkup was great as the contractions have seemed to slow down significantly. Who knows, I might make it to 40 weeks. At least now if the baby is born, everything should be just fine.

No pics to post. I look like Jabba the Hut. Will send some cutie pics of Mya soon.
